Along with houses selling quickly, little to choose from, and sky-high prices, even if you could find a new house it was nearly impossible to find a mover. Well, Summit came to our rescue and they did a great job. Their guys showed up on time, worked their butts off, and were very pleasant and good-humored throughout the ordeal. Two of the movers drive your items so some of the same people on other side. They use locals to help them. Our estimates were pretty accurate. One a bit higher and one a bit lower. No complaints there. Not one thing was broken. They do combine with other loads if room but everything was marked and we didn't miss an item. We quoted pods but once you add in the help, you have to hire, and storage, prices were equal. Summit did it all, less stress. Less expensive than I thought it was going to be. Items arrived in a week. Good communication from Wheaton and a summit through move. Liked having a local contact. read less

The movers, Rick & Mike were very professional & courteous. They were very conscious about putting down mats, to keep our old & new house clean as possible during the move. They were very accommodating to any requests we had and made sure to avoid any nicks to walls or furniture. They also got the move from our old house to our new house done in a timely manner.
